Donna Howlett’s career in Assisted Reproduction spans twenty eight years, commencing in 1984 as a Clinical Embryologist and Researcher at Monash University under the mentorship of Professor Alan Trounson and Professor Carl Wood. The key achievements include international technology transfer, establishment of Quality Management Standards, and significant growth and service expansion of IVF companies both locally and worldwide.

The key skills that Donna brings to boards include strategic thinking, business development experience particularly in the field of assisted reproduction, strong governance practices, operational leadership, finance and risk management and sound commercial decision making qualities.

She maintains an active interest in psychosocial and clinical assisted reproduction research, with a number of publications in peer review journals and several presentations at international meetings.

Donna Howlett currently holds a number of directorships. Donna is a past Board Director and Treasurer of the Fertility Society of Australia and past Director of ACCESS, Australia’s National Infertility Network. ACCESS is a consumer based, not for profit organisation that advocates for the wellbeing of infertile people in Australia
